We are a family-run, medium-sized company with around 200 employees. For over 80 years, we have been successfully developing,
producing and selling gearboxes and complete drive solutions for a wide range of applications in
mechanical engineering. Our size allows us short decision-making processes, flat hierarchies and a collegial atmosphere – at the same time, we offer responsibility, creative freedom and a broad field of activity for people with entrepreneurial spirit.

Your tasks:

  • Overall responsibility for all national and international sales activities

  • Management, further development and motivation of our sales team

  • Development and implementation of sales strategies in close coordination with
    management

  • Support and expansion of existing customer relationships

  • Acquiring new customers in existing and new markets

  • Offer and contract negotiations incl. pricing and deadline coordination

  • Interface to development, planning and production

Your profile:

  • Degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering
    or similar comparable qualification with sound business management knowledge

  • Several years of experience in technical sales, ideally in mechanical engineering or drive technology

  • First or sound management experience

  • Entrepreneurial thinking and a structured, goal-oriented way of working

  • Strong communication skills and confident demeanor

  • Business fluent in German and English

Industrial mechanics play a key role in all parts of an industrial company.
The training is very versatile.

  • Basic training at GARP Ruit in the first year of training

  • 2½ years of specialist training in the modern training workshop and in all
    areas of production, including: machining production, assembly / component assembly, quality assurance and much more.

  • 3½ years Duration of training

  • 1½ days per week vocational school

Warehouse logistics specialists play a key role in all parts of an industrial company.
The training is very versatile.

  • Training as a warehouse logistics specialist teaches you everything you need to know about goods receipt, storage and dispatch.
    You will learn about logistical processes, warehouse technology and modern merchandise management systems.

  • 3 years Duration of training

  • 1½ days per week vocational school

  • Shipping / Export worldwide

3 years of specialist training in the design office at a CAD workstation with the following focal points:

  • Creating and modifying 3D data sets

  • Planning and designing components and assemblies

  • Creation of assembly drawings and individual part drawings

  • Carrying out calculations and creating technical documents

Insights into production round off the whole experience to get to know the processes in a modern industrial company

  • 3½ years Duration of training

  • ½ year practical mechanical training

  • Specialist courses at GARP Ruit / Plochingen, e.g. electrical engineering / hydraulics

Your requirements:

  • Good Abitur or good entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences

  • Good grades in math and physics

The training occupation:

The special thing about this training course is the combination of training and study, practice and theory in harmony.

  • 4 1/2 years Duration of training

  • 2 years of training as an industrial mechanic, parallel to the 1st semester of the degree course

  • Vocational school lessons at the Ferdinand-von-Steinbeis-Schule in Reutlingen

  • 2½ years of study at Reutlingen University After 2 years final examination as an industrial mechanic, after 4½ years graduation as a Bachelor of Engineering.

  • After 2 years final examination as an industrial mechanic, after 4½ years graduation as a Bachelor of Engineering.
