The clamping unit drive ensures the required power density with a 4-fold tooth engagement on the gear rack, while the large stroke is achieved with a newly developed telescopic seal.
Rack and pinion drive with significant advantages in terms of efficiency and noise levels
Synchronous servomotors with 2- or 4-fold meshing on the gear rack ensure the required power density and dynamics.
In order to achieve a short design despite the comparatively large stroke, a telescopic seal was developed that surrounds the extended gear rack in an oil-tight manner with interlocking sleeves and can be flexibly configured depending on the required stroke.
Flexible installation positions: depending on the available space, the motor can be mounted on the side or on top.
From size ZS 81-C, water cooling is integrated into the gearbox.

IEC standard motors and compact high-performance motors.
Cooling
The choice of the appropriate cooling method depends on the specific requirements of the gearbox, the operating conditions and the environmental factors. A thorough analysis of the thermal load and operating parameters is essential to determine the best cooling strategy.
